‘Q’ Complex to be a ‘Home Theatre’
Nine feet width Plasma TVs with modern technical know-how would be installed at Q Complex for a feel of ‘Home Theatre’ there TTD Chairman Karunakar Reddy and TTD EO Ramanachari disclosed the decisions of the TTD Board. Board’s meeting is held at Annamayya Bhavan on Tuesday. Numerous complains are received from devotees about the poor quality of sound from presently installed TVs at Q complex and as such it is decided to install 103 inches TVs.

Four AC Kalyana Mandapams at Alipiri with Rs. 25 Crores
Four AC Kalyana Mandapams with modern facilities at an expenditure of Rs. 25 Crores would be constructed besides Science Centre at Alipiri according to the decision taken at the Board Meeting. Facilities for above 500 people to witness the weddings are not available at Kalyan Mandaps at Tiruchaanoor and Tirupati and this proposed Kalyana Mendaps would enable large number people to take part.

Modernization of Peda Jeeyar Matham with Rs. 3.2 Crores
Centuries old Peda Jeeyar Matham near Akhilandam will be modernized at a cost of Rs. 3.2 Crores on a request from Peda Jeeyar. The Matham would be built at its existing location.

TTD Press Modernisation with Rs. 5 Crores
It is decided to procure New machinery for TTD Press to print Lord’s Calenders, Pamphlets, Posters and others a year back. Requirement of Building for the new machinery is felt now and an amount of Rs. 5 Crores is allotted for constructing new building to the press. New machinery would be procured after completion of new building to modernize the TTD Press.

Renovation to Ambedkar Bhavan with Rs. 9 laks
Challappa Meystri Building at Prakasam Road, Tirupati called Ambedkar Building belongs to TTD. It is decided to give Rs. 9 laks to Dalit Associations for its renovation and repairs.

Mobile Hospitals on Foot Way to Hills
It is decided to maintain a Mobile Hospital at every 500 steps from Alipiri to Gali Gopuram. ‘We wanted that a Mobile Hospital should be there, but the modalities as to how, where and whom etc are yet to be decided’ replied when Kaliyuga Narada asked what will be the shape and size of the mobile hospital.

Special Cell for Sale of Tonsured Hair
TTD earns around Rs. 200 Crores from the sales of tonsure hair. Possible increase in the coming years warranted to TTD Board to decide to establish a ‘Special Cell’ for the purpose. TTD JEO Srikant is appointed as Special Officer to study and submit the report on ‘Establishment of Special Cell for sale of Tonsured Hair’.

Justice to 247 NMRs
TTD Board extended justice to 247 NMRs who are working in different wings of TTD. 95 Home Guards who are working in TTD since long are regularized and would they be posted as Attendant, Watchman cadre posts. Similarly 45 workers working in TTD broadcasting system will get time scales. Further around 110 NMRs workers at 11 Temples under the jurisdiction of TTD at Nagala Puram, Devuni Gadapa other arrears.

Educational Assistance to wards of TTD Staff up to PG
TTD hitherto is reimbursing the Tuition fees to the wards of TTD staff up to Degree level irrespective they study anywhere. The reimbursement henceforth is extended to PG level education to the wards of TTD Staff.

Fellowship to six to Research on Annamayya
Annamacharya penned thousands of Keertanas on Lord and Poetess Devotee Vengamambaa as well. TTD Board decided to award fellowships at the rate of Rs. 1000/ each to those who do research on them.
