Direct Telecast & Indirect Benefit
- Contract Vehicles for SV Channel
- 'Own' Interests duly 'Protected'
Tirupati, March 16

It's commissions galore at TTD, It's awarding contracts to own people at TTD. It's all through spending crores of rupees presented by devotees to Lord. Now lets see the new episode at SV Bhakti Channel.
Arrangements for SV Bhakti Channel are on since the past one year. As usual no long term plans are proposed reasons are obvious. It is just get the 'benefits' that derive to 'Own' people.

SV Bhakti Channel is proposed to be launched from Telugu New Year's day on 7th April 2008. Plans are readied to telecast live the programmes at Tirumala and Tirupati as well as various temples across the state. The basic requirement for live Telecast is DSNG Van. It is proposed to have two such vans one to be stationed at Tirupati and other at Hyderabad. Market price of such van as per present rates is from Rs. 70 laks to Rs. 1 Crore. Rs. Two Crores are required to be allotted for purchase of two such vans. If purchased these two vans become the property of SV channel permanently. Here come the self interests of TTD's Big Shots. One private organization which rents out DSNG vans has come in to picture with a proposal to supply the vans on payment of Rs. 10 laks per month per van, totaling Rs. 20 laks per month. In other words, SV Channel has to pay Rs. 2.40 Crores per annum
to that 'OWN' organization.

It is curious to observe how tactfully the proposal is mooted. The proposal is come up when the time is short for its launch. In the Review Meeting held on 15th March this proposal is placed with a tag that launching programme could not be telecast Live on April 7th unless this proposal for contract vehicles is through. Thus it is clear that the situation was so created to get the vehicles on contract basis paying Rs. 2.40 crores per annum, whereas Channel's thereby TTD's interests would be protected if two DSNG vans are purchased spending Rs. 2 Crores. Its not Lord's Interest, Its Own Interest prevails.
