Kalyanamastu registration date extended

The last date for registration of names for marriages under the Kalyanamastu programme has been extended from February 29 to March 5, TTD Executive Officer KV Ramanachary has said.
Reviewing the arrangements for Kalyanamastu here today, he said the couples desirous of getting married under the Kalayanamstu programme need to register theii names at local tahsildar offices, panchayat offices and TTD kalyana mandapams.
He said that 'mangalasutrams' and 'mettelu' to be presented to the prospective couples would be kept at the feet oi Lord Venkateswara on February 28 and then sent to the respective kalyana mandapams. He asked the officials to go to their designated places from February 27 and take the help of Srivari Sevaks and locals for making the programme successful.
