'Reduce Distance Between Lord & Devotees'
Tirupati, March 16

Distance between Lord and devotees should be minimized, though it is inevitable to maintain distance, TTD has to initiate steps to minimize the distance according to a Devotees' Group from Narasarao Peta, who were not willing to disclose their names. Obtained Lord's Darshan and Accommodation through advance booking. Rented Accommodation at Sankumitta is very good, they felt.

Lets here their own words….
'We have reached Tirumala on 16th Morning and our children went on walk to Tirumala to fulfill the vows. We had reached by road with luggage. Facilities on walk way are good. Drinking water, shelter and other facilities are available to pilgrims. Some more facilities are required to be introduced in the coming days. Reached Tirumala at 11 o clock and tried to obtain cottage keys. We have made advance reservation for accommodation through internet. Accommodation was allotted to us Sankhu Mitta where the facilities were very good. We have tonsured there and 'something' was offered to barbers was normal practice.

We got Cellar Darshan on Advance Reservation. We have entered Q complex at 5 in the evening and good darshan was obtained by us within three hours. Of course push and pressures are very normal there and there was some jostling there too.

Due to rush devotees were compelled to return from distance. We have some dissatisfaction as we could go near Lord, though we got good Darshan. It is sad not able to reach till Ananda Nilayam. TTD has to reduce or minimize the distance despite rush factor. Two laddus each were allotted to us and we are now visiting local temples before returning our native."
