Lord of This Yuga Performs these Marriages

Kalyanamastu is a programme to take Lord's will to the people, it is not government beneficiary progamme, said TTD Chairman Bhoomana Karunakar Reddy. This programme is a dais through which creation of awareness about Hindu Marriage to masses is possible, he further added. Mass marriages will be held in Temples and TTD Kalylama Mandaps through out the state on March 9th, Chairman stressed.

Presiding over the Seminar TTD EO Ramanachari said necessary steps are being taken to conduct the programme in more efficient manner than previous occasion.

Local MLA Venkata Ramana opined that if the marriages are held simultaneously with Kalyanotsavam of Lord, it would be more appropriate. If necessary he would moot the subject with Chief Minister, he added. He requested all to make this programme a grand success.

District Collector S.S.Ravat requested all officials to take part in the programme and called upon poor families to take advantage of such programmes.

JEO Srikant, District CEO Venkata Swamy, RDOs of all Divisions, DPP Secretary Vijayaraghavachari, ZPTCs, MPTCs, Anganwadi workers, local municipal councilors and TTD officials took part in the seminar.

Engagement was performed for 16 couples during the seminar and all the couples were offered with new cloths by Lord's priests.
