Sequel to Vigilance Raids, First Ever Mass Transfers

History is created on Thursday night at TTD on release of ROC No. DA1-3526-2008 dated 5.3.2008 transferring as many 21 TTD staff posting them in insignificant posts in TTD Administrative office.

Vigilance Report
Black marketing of rooms at Shri Padmavati Guest House and MBC 26 guest house came to light in the vigilance raids on February 11th and 12th by CVSO Harish Kumar and other vigilance officials, where 20 employees indulge in corruption. The file with full investigation and proofs placed before TTD EO.

Drastic Action by EO
Responding drastically on the report and had discussions with JEOs who also opined to take drastic action on culprits. As many 21 staff are transferred and posted at TTD Administrative Office on Thursday night.

Unparallel in the History of TTD
Transferring 21 officials, who face corruption charges, is first time in the history of TTD and unparallel incident. Credit to this goes to TTD EO Ramanachari, while credit for collecting proofs and filing report goes to CVSo Harishkumar.

Whether Resist Pressures?
It is to be seen how far TTD EO resist pressures from higher ups on these transfers since five of transferred officials have clout with a important Board member. Others too have clout with political leaders and other peoples' representatives.
