Finest Quality Rice will be used for Lord's Free Meal Canteen according to O.V.Ramana, TTD Board Member. 14% soil is noticed in Sona variety rice used at present, he adds. Seeds and stones too are on higher side in this variety he said. To overcome this some sample rice used in various star hotels examined at a laboratory found superior than that using at present. Paying higher amount for inferior quality rice and as such it would be decided to cancel the present tender in next Board Meeting, Ramana said. Tender is finalized to supply 30000 bed sheets and pillow covers shortly, he informed.
