VOLUNTARY SERVICE TO THE DEVOTEES AND LORD OF SEVEN HILLS
Tirumala, the abode of Lord Venkateswara, is visited by millions of ardent devotees every year. With a view to render better service to these pilgrims who come from far-flung parts of the country, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has launched 'Sri Vari Seva'.
The Seva provides a unique opportunity to the devotees to serve fellow pilgrims and participate in devout Seva aimed at inculcating service-mindedness. According to the scriptures, the divine grace can be attained not only by worshipping the Lord in the sanctum sanctorum but also by serving His devotees. Thus, the 'Srivari Seva' ensures the added benefit of worshipping Lord Srinivasa through selfless service to His devotees.
Under the seva, pilgrims can offer their voluntary service in the following areas:
1. Annadanam 2. Queue Lines 3. Kalyana Katta 4. Gardens 5. Laddu Counters 6. Vaikuntam Queue Complex (I & II) 7. Free Bus 8. Pilgrims Amenities Complexes (Yatrisadans) 9. Information Centres 10. Vigilance 11. Health 12. Central Reception Office (CRO) 13 Srivari Thirunamam 14 Bus Stops 15. Pushkarini etc.
The Pilgrims are free to choose the area according to their interest and aptitude. They may make spot registration at the cell functioning inside RTC Bus stand, Tirumala. Groups consisting of not less than 10 members and ready to work for atleast one week may participate in the seva by prior intimation and they will be provided with free food and accommodation at Tirumala. Bhajan troupes can also take part in this service which will be an inspiring experience to the participants. Srivari Seva will form an integral part of worship at Tirumala. It enlivens our spiritual life and prepares our body and soul to act to the will of the Supreme Lord. Through Srivari Seva T.T.D. endeavours to perpetuate a noble tradition devotedly followed by our illustrious acharyas like Tirumala Nambi, Ramanujacharya and Ananthalvar. Devotees desirous of offering 'Srivari Seva' may please enroll themselves at "Srivari Seva: Sadan, Inside RTC Bus stand, Tirumala.

GUIDELINES TO SRIVARI SEVA VOLUNTEERS
* A group consisting of not less than 10 members is eligible for rendering Srivari Seva for seven days. The members should be spiritually motivated to offer selfless service. Both men and women can participate. Interested voluntary groups can send their requisition letter containing the name, address, age, sex, religion, profession and stamp size photograph etc. of each participant to the Public Relations Officer, TTD Administrative Building, K.T. Road, Tirupati -517 083 one month in advance.
Srivari sevaks are advised not to bring children, aged and sick people along with them.
* They should report to the superintendent 7 Officer on Special Duty at Srivari Seva Sadan, Tirumala, Inside RTC Bus stand on their arrival as per the dates mentioned in the order, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
* Free Accommodation will be provided to the sevaks. In case the accommodation is provided at Pilgrims Amenities Complex, the Srivari Sevaks should come with locks and keys.
Duties will be allotted everyday, at 4 p.m. at Srivari Seva Sadan. Sevaks should be willing to perform duty at least for 4 to 6 hours daily.
Please wear Srivari Seva scarves while on duty. But they should not be worn while going for Srivari darsan.
* Always chant 'Govinda' and address everyone as 'Govinda'
* Srivari Seva is purely a voluntary Service to extend help to the visiting pilgrims. No payment, either in cash or kind, should be made to anyone for Srivari Seva.
The sevaks can take part in bhajans and nagara sankirtanas everyday. They can also utilize the musical instruments which are available in Srivari Seva Office.
* Do perform Srivari Seva as a loving service to Lord Srinivasa.

The Bank is also authorised to sell gold and silver dollars of Lord Venkateswara in Sri Govindarajaswamy Temple, Tirupati.
