Vasantotsavams of Goddess

Annual Vasantotsavams to Goddess Padmavati at Tiruchanoor
Temple will commence from 17th May with ankuraarpana. Every
year the three days festivities will be held in the month
of Vaishakha as per Telugu Calendar. Special poojas will be
performed to Goddess during the festivities and Festive Deities
will go procession all the three days. Some of regular sevas
such as Unjal Seva is cancelled during the three days and
Kalyanotsavam and Ashta Dala Pada Padmaaradhana are cancelled
on 19th. Koil Alwar Tirumanjam will performed at Goddess'
Temple on 13th May.
There is spurt in rush at Goddess Temple due to summer vacation
and Rs. 12.50 laks income was earned through Hundi on Tuesday.
