Dear sir,
Re: Protest against the Allocation of site for Guest-Houses,
spending of Devashtanam funds for Roads.
We are worried on the news-reports on the IMPROPER allotment
of SITE for construction of
Private/Government Guest-Houses at Tirumala.
It has been the practice for centuries not to allot any site
at Tirumala to individuals/private companies,
even State Governments, to build their own Guest Houses, which
will harbour illegal elements,activities and
will become a menace to peaceful atmosphere of sacred Tirumala.
It is very bad that during the tenure of
T.Subbiramireddy, 45 sites were allotted to individuals.
We demand that the allotted 45 sites SHOULD BE TAKEN OVER
BACK BY THE T.T.D. and Use for the creation of facilities
for the common pilgrim. FURTHER, NO SITE SHOULD BE ALLOTTED
TO ANYBODY INCLUDING THE PONDICHERRY STATE GOVT., Mr.DALI
RAJU and
OTHER PERSON. Please do not spoil the sanctity of the temple
precinct.
(II) We protest against the use of T.T.D. Funds for construction
of Roads, and other civic facilities,
Supposed to be taken-up by the State Government/Local Bodies.
WE DISSENT THE PROPOSAL TO USE THE DEVASHTANAM FUNDS FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF ROADS AT CHITTOOR DISTRICT.
We hope the Members of the Board we take opinion of the devotees
into consideration and will not take hasty decisions on the
above mentioned matters which have far fetching consequences.
