Sir
After A long time I had been to Tirumala on 17 June 2008. the queue management has worsened compared to the previous periods. The queue is being blocked without any reason and the pilgrims are let into the queue at once which is resulting in mad rush thus causing inconvenience to the elders, ladies and childre. now it is observed that blocking the flow / movement of pilgrims is extended to post darhan also.

On that day after having darshan ( called maha laghudarshan ) we were stopped from going out near the hundi . There was no valid reason as the outgoing way is free.

The pilgrims were stopped till a crowd is formed and were left at once which resulted in rush at the prasadam distribution counters. Then once again the outflow was stopped and the crowd became restless and started abusing the administration. the pilgrims were let out only after a scuffle with guards present there.

A few people slipped and sustained minor injuries in the rush that ensued after wards.
We can understand queue regulation for darshan but blocking after the darshan is not necessary.

this blockades will result in stampedes and may lead to untoward incidents in the temple premises. Hence i request the temple admnistration to stramline the queue management and ensure smooth passage to the pilgrims after the darshan. This will also clear the impression that TTD is artificially creating overcrowd situation even when there is not that much rush.
